SEF detains man wanted in Germany

​The Immigration and Borders Service (SEF) has detained, today, in Lisboa, a 34-year-old foreign national on behalf of which a European arrest warrant had been issued by Germany for several crimes of computer-related, finance nature, swindle and forgery of administrative documents.

The detainee will be brought before the Court of Appeal of Lisboa, waiting for its extradition to Germany.

In the north of the country, SEF has complied, yesterday, with three search warrants: one house search, another to a site of cult and another to an automobile, in the area of Vila do Conde.

Under an investigation to the crimes of assisting unlawful immigration, forgery of administrative documents and swindle, SEF has made two defendants and seized, in addition, significant documentary proof and in a digital form.
