SEF detains foreign national wanted by the INTERPOL

The Immigration and Borders Service (SEF) has detained, today, in Loures, a 26-year-old foreign national wanted by the INTERPOL, for evidence of organised crime in Pakistan and India, related with terrorism, in particular with trafficking of heroin for the financing of terrorist organisations.

After several proceedings taken as far as his whereabouts, the foreign national has been detained in the public road, in the possession of a forged passport.

He will be brought before the Court of Appeal of Lisboa for application of cautionary measures.
