The European Migration Network (EMN), set up within the European Commission, focuses on promoting the collection, analysis and provision of objective, reliable and comparable information in the field of immigration and asylum, providing decisive support in the process of developing European policies in these areas.

The EMN is composed of National Contact Points (NCPs), representing the Member States of the European Union, and the European Commission, which coordinate the work and safeguard the Union's political priorities in the area of immigration and asylum.

SEF, as the National Contact Point of the EMN and consequently the coordinator of the National Migration Network, has the opportunity to promote debate on the relevant issues in the framework of national and European policy on immigration and asylum.

New EMN report published: Children in Migration 2020
This new report from the European Migration Network (EMN) provides an overview of the progress made during 2020 in the implementation of the recommendations laid out in the 2017 Communication on the protection of children in migration and is the second edition of a series of reports developed by the EMN.
