SEF makes defendant owner of a dummy temporary work agency

Under an investigation began in 2020, the Immigration and Borders Service (SEF) has complied, today, in Albufeira, with two search and arrest warrants, one to a home and another to a commercial establishment, for the crime of assisting unlawful immigration.

Within the searches, about five thousand euros cash, three mobile phones, three laptops and several documentations have been seized for supporting criminal evidences under investigation.

The main suspect, a Hindustani national, and his temporary work agency, have been made defendants and might have been responsible for the legalisation of more than 300 foreign nationals, mostly not even living in the national territory, in exchange of huge amounts.

The SEF investigation will now proceed with the emphasis in the immense real estate acquired by the defendant over the last year.
